Tip of the day

INSTALL GFCI’s (ground fault circuit interrupters) WHERE MOISTURE OR WATER IS PRESENT!

We’ve all seen it in cartoons – water and electricity make a deadly combination. Ontario’s building code requires Ground Fault Circuit interrupters (commonly GFCI’s) for electrical outlets in all new residential bathrooms, to protect you and your family from potentially deadly shock. In older homes, we recommend that you have one of our licensed electricians install GFCI outlets in bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, basements, garages, or anywhere water may be present.
